Welcome

I’m a researcher specializing in accessibility in virtual worlds. In my PhD, I have looked at implementing echolocation—sound and echo reverberations—to enable people with visual impairments to explore virtual worlds. My research has appeared in venues such as the CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems.

I have extensive teaching experience: I have worked as an academic tutor for the University of Melbourne for 3+ years; I worked with English learners of all ages at COPEI English Institute; I taught people with visual impairment how to use screen-reading software at the Library and Information Centre, ESPOL.

As an early career researcher, I’m looking for new opportunities to help solve real-world problems by using my expertise in mixed-methods research.
